My Students

This project will benefit all the students in our school. Our school is nestled in a small town in rural Maine. We serve a population high in free and reduced lunch. Our Pre-Kindergarten through First Grade school is like a small community where everyone takes care of everyone.

Our students are at an age where they soak up information every minute of every day!

They are learning to thrive in their world be becoming fantastic readers, writers, and mathematicians. Above all, these students are learning to be wonderful and caring citizens.

My Project

Our school is in desperate need of a new laminating machine. We've been working our old one for years past it's prime! The button doesn't work and it takes multiple people to use well. Unfortunately, the current state of our budget will not allow us to purchase one.

It is important to our students that teachers are able to preserve materials for years to come.

Teachers love to create their own materials to target students' needs. These materials are only able to be saved and used again if they are laminated. This may include games, posters, fact cards, name tags, and even recognition certificates.
