I am a special education teacher, and currently have 40+ students who we are helping provide services to. We are in the process of preparing for remote learning and that requires a lot of new resources and materials to get ready and have one hand in case the inevitable need arises. We are a low-income school in a rural community. Our school is a PK-2nd grade with an average of 18-20 students per room and 5 Pk/K classrooms, 5 1st grade classrooms, and 5 2nd grade classrooms.
My Project
This project is full of resources to help a variety of students. From our life skills learners to those who need sensory supports, to academic demands. We have a wide variety of needs from all of our learners, and academic paths that our students are on.
We are always in the search for new and exciting ways to engage learners and help them continue to grow academically and socially.
These resources will help us keep students engaged, help with sensory breaks, learning opportunities, and provide academic resource opportunities to help students learn. These Lakeshore learning resources include games, sensory tools, academic resources, and play based items for life skill building. These learning games and tools will help learners to learn at their own pace and through their own hands-on opportunities.
