Our school strives to prepare students for an ever-changing academic, social, and global society. In addition to pursuing traditional coursework, students study under career pathway programs, participate in dual enrollment, and contribute to numerous community service projects. Many also work part-time jobs, devote time to student organizations, and take care of family members at home.
As the school's first ever girls' lacrosse team, my Lady Sharks are hard-working, self-motivated, and excited to start a legacy.
Our team is made up of students from two high schools and one middle school. On top of school, studying, and employment, the girls practice for two and a half hours everyday after school. They are always upbeat, helpful, and willing to push themselves. They are truly dedicated!
My Project
Because we are a new team, we are in desperate need of uniform shorts, lacrosse sticks, practice balls, goals, cones, and practice jerseys. The players' parents are already covering the expense of uniform tops, cleats, gloves, goggles, mouthpieces, personal lacrosse sticks, and referees. This equipment will allow the girls to engage in more drills, help them develop confidence on the field, and familiarize them with the game-day experience.

For our first season, the Lady Sharks have six games. Our first game is in February, and the season runs through April.
