My Students

My high school students are a joy to have in the classroom. They, of course, have their ups and downs, but they are great kids. I have been teaching in this rural district for the past 8 years. I have taught anything from 8th-grade math up to dual credit college algebra and calculus.

Students use their math skills to help develop their problem-solving abilities to aid them with real-life obstacles.

I am also the math league sponsor, Fellowship of Christian Athletes sponsor, and have coached either softball or basketball all 8 years.

My Project

The JHS girls basketball team is filled with a lot of young ladies with great hearts and great attitudes. They have been small in number the last year or so but are hoping to make an impact both on the court and off of the court.

The young ladies on our high school basketball team are looking to purchase new basketballs.

We have been sharing our current supply with the junior high and elementary. We have many basketballs that have been used for at least the last 10 years and they are not game worthy. These basketballs would be used as new game balls and during practices.
