My students are visionaries! Daily we talk about the places we can go and how we can get there. Whether it be by way of college, entrepreneurship, business or the arts. They make me smile with great anticipation hearing them speak life into their own destinies. They have such grand ideas and think on a different level because they are dealing with different circumstances than most children their age.
My scholars are innovative!
Their little minds think of the most clever ways to accomplish tasks, and their replies, sometimes, take me by surprise. Coming from the environment they do, they definitely do their best to use the little they have to do a lot. They genuinely want greater for themselves and their families and are willing to learn how to do so while getting their education as well. That speaks volumes.
My kiddos are dedicated! When they set their minds on something, they go full steam. They yearn for structure and consistency mixed with some tough love. It makes for great relationships and rapport between teacher & student body, period. The same things they want are what they give in return. My little dreamers are on their way up!
Ladies In Training is an organization that gives young ladies a place of sisterhood and liberty. We focus on education, etiquette (manners and hygiene), endurance (self awareness & pressures of life), and expertise (gifts and skills). The ladies meet twice a week, do community projects and fundraisers. They focus on changing the culture on their campus of what it truly means to be a Leading Young Lady while exemplifying that daily in and out of class.
It is our mission to provide a place that fosters self-love and the tools to tap into being your greatest self.
The ladies meet different speakers and participate in different activities that help to enrich and enlighten them along their path in life. They are able to witness firsthand that there are woman from similar walks of life that have beat all odds and become the greatest versions of themselves.
Ladies In Training is literally developing a sisterhood within the female student body at our school. This helps the girls to get along, exemplify good character, and show them how to be forgiving and forgiven. The bonds are so real! We want to get them uniformed so they can be that much more unified. We have someone who is donating their services to design the ladies' warm-ups, we just have to get the hoodies & joggers. Join us in making this happen...you are greatly appreciated!!
