Lacrosse is a great sport that is growing like wildfire across the country. Lacrosse, however, is primarily a northern game, and I want to bring lacrosse to my school. The students have showed great interest in the game but have never had the proper equipment to learn how to play the game.
My students are primary athletes and play numerous sports at the school.
Almost all of my students are interested in sports of some kind, and I want to give students another outlet. The school has all the major sports teams but no lacrosse team. There has been great interest in lacrosse but no equipment to teach the sport. I want to be able to give the students the opportunity to at least experience the fastest growing sport in the country.
My Project
The items I am asking for are basic, yet essential to teaching the sport of lacrosse. With using regulation goals, balls and sticks I can teach at full scale and in game like situations. This will bring a sport to the area that very few have ever seen played. It will open up a whole new world for some students. I have a passion for the sport and want to be able to spread it to the area's youth in and out of school. This equipment will give me a great start, and I believe it will have a great impact on the area's youth.
