Help me give my students materials to do hands-on dissections and science experiments. These engaging opportunities are extremely important in having students fully immersed in the learning process!
Many of my students come to me from low income families. Single parents are raising most of our students. Ten percent of my students live with a grandparent or a foster parent, due to their parents being unfit. Most of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch. I am in a transient district, which adds to the struggles of the students who move around a lot. These students need extra care and attention. I provide supplies to many of my students because they just don't have the money for school supplies.
I try to be an emotional support to as many of my students as I can.
I teach the gifted population, which raises issues in having the necessary resources to really challenge and grow this group to reach their highest potentials while still meeting their most basic needs. Many of my students enjoy coming to school, and I want to continue to try to provide them with the utmost opportunity to advance their curriculum and continue supporting them in their accomplishments and inquisitive nature. In order to reach these levels, my students need resources and materials to complete experiments and labs to challenge their current beliefs.

My gifted and talented students have unique, inquisitive minds, always wanting to perform the best and newest experiments to further their current understandings in the world of science!
With these lab materials, students will be able to have a more in-depth understanding of various science topics that are occurring every day in our natural world.
Our school currently cannot afford to reward students with the materials needed to have the most immersive learning experiences without some assistance. By having these resources students will be able to complete hands-on experiments, undoubtedly being able to receive the most knowledge from these exciting opportunities.
