Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are 6th grade science learners in an urban setting. A majority of my students come from homes with a lack of access to internet and technological resources. This project will benefit all 100 of my students this school year. Through your help, these students will be able to have a choice either to sit or stand while conducting research in science. This project will give students the option to spend more time working on their research by sitting or standing in lab. In my class. we do not have stools, many special needs students can't join us in lab without a place to be able to rest. Our 45 minute class is too long for some students to stand or lean, they all want the option to be able to sit. This project will help every student In my class.
With your help, these laboratory stools will benefit all my students while they conduct research at their lab tables.
My Project
The lab stools that I am requesting will be used by every student in my class. My students have been eager to have the choice of either resting on the lab stool or standing while conducting research and experiments. In our class now, we do not have any lab stools, which make it very difficult for some students who have special needs. The class is 45 minutes long, many students can’t stand that long. With your donation for the lab stools, it will be a very welcome addition to classroom learning. The students have been hoping to have the opportunity to have lab stools. I know they would be extremely happy 😃
