My students need 25 pairs of safety goggles and 15 lab aprons.

Your help is needed to ensure the safety of the students. I am an 8th grade science teacher who is trying to inspire future scientist by doing hands-on experiments.

With a limited budget I am not able to replace much of our laboratory safety equipment once it starts to wear out. Many of the safety goggles have scratches on the lenses and are dirty. Students will often complain that their vision is blurred by the goggles. I have tried to clean them many times, but they are beyond cleaning. I try to replace a few goggles each year, but have not been able to keep up with the demand. Our lab safety aprons are designed to protect the students from chemical and hot liquid spills. The aprons are starting to show their age and are worn out. Many of the aprons have holes in them. Again, I try to replace a few each year, but have not been able to keep up.

Replacing many of the goggles and aprons would allow my students to continue conducting the laboratory experiments that they have been doing.

Sitting in my class may be the next Newton or Einstein. Will they reach their full potential without conducting experiments? Please help fund this project. Thanks!!
