My Students

This project will benefit my PLTW Biomedical science students. This is a nationwide, four year program geared to inspire kids to enter the biomedical field in many different career areas. These are students who are taking this science elective because they are interested in the medical field and making a difference someday. They take this course in addition to their required science classes. This project will benefit two classes of biomedical scientists. They need space to store their lab journals that they will use throughout the program.

My Project

These mailbox systems will come in handy for my biomedical students. Students will be able to organize and access their materials more efficiently. Each student has a career journal, lab notebook and a binder for these courses. These materials are kept in the classroom so they don't get lost. This makes it challenging to store them. Right now, we store the career journals all in one milk crate and the lab notebooks in another, while the binders are on a shelving unit. This project would allow my students to keep all their materials in one location where they can be easily accessed and not in a messy pile.
