This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The creative and absorbing minds of 6th graders are truly astounding. At this age, as they navigate middle school, they truly begin to consider, “What do I want to be when I grow up?” These lab coats will give them an authentic feeling of being a scientist every time they perform an experiment, engage in hypothetical analysis, or even while working on scientific activities. Whether acting as a meteorologist, biologist, chemist, etc., it will give them the perception of being a real scientist. These lab coats will benefit not only our current 6th graders, but those to come as well.
