My Students

My students are living in a world that is fast paced and being drawn to spend endless hours on electronic devices. My students would truly enjoy spending time escaping problems by reading books that are meant for them.

Today a reader but tomorrow a leader!

Reading books are an amazing way of transporting us into a world we might not ever be able to visit. Please help me to help my kids have wonderful adventures and create new chapters today.

My Project

Kwame Alexander writes books that make struggling readers want to spend time reading. The books for the project will be devoured by my students that have vowed to me that they hate reading. These books are so entertaining to children that the word starts spreading and before long everyone is wanting the books.

The books for this project will move mountains for my students.

Kwame Alexander’s books are so incredibly engaging to ALL kids that no one can not like it. Books are so much better than technology and with this project we are reducing screen time to some students.
