My Students

My name is Erin Stone and I teach Kindergarten in Moore, Oklahoma. A typical day in my classroom is fun, active, and full of love:) My biggest challenge is making sure all of my kiddos benchmark on their DIBELS test, which we take 3 times a year. I know they can ALL benchmark.

My kinders are amazing.

They are FULL of love and energy. Our school is a great place to work. I have many mentors and friends who I work with. The energy at our school is so motivating. There are teachers and students here who have so much pride in our building that you can't help but love being here. Our PTA is outstanding, our principal is so supporting, and even our custodians have pride.

My Project

My kids LOVE Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. The coconut tree will give them a manipulative to connect with our book. The alphabet buckets are PERFECT for centers or for my small group daily intervention. They would be great for letter recognition, first sound fluency, and phoneme segemention, all of which they are tested on with DIBELS.

These donations will improve my classroom by adding that extra hands on aspect of our classroom that I love.

They are 5 and 6. These kids have to touch things to make a real connection. Thank you so much.
