My Students
My students vary from year to year but one thing remains the same -- each student is eager to learn, explore, touch, and create. Although I haven't met my new class yet, I'm sure each of these students will bring something unique to our classroom.
They come in every year with a willingness to become a true learner.
It is my job to set goals and make their dreams come true. With my diverse population of students, it is a welcomed challenge. I work hard at getting parents involved and becoming a true team.
My Project
I'm excited to be introducing a new library area this year, "Kool Korner." Students will be able to explore new books, communicate together and relax on the pillows. Over the years, I have collected a wide variety of books from yard sales and parents, and can't wait to share them with students.
By organizing materials on open bookshelves, young learners are more apt to engage in reading.
Making the room a warm and inviting environment enhances learning.
All students learn in different ways. It is important for us as educators to explore what is best for each individual student and help them with whatever they need to find their true potential.
