My Students

My classroom is buzzing with a blend of students with various physical, cognitive, academic, and emotional needs. Successful inclusive education happens when there is an acceptance and understanding of these differences and where diversity is honored. My students thrive in an environment where they feel like they can be proud of who they are and they work endlessly to discover their strengths and tirelessly to strengthen their weaknesses.

My Project

This project will help us acquire the tools for struggling readers to be able to independently access grade-level information. This tool will be utilized as technology that can open up so many opportunities, from note-taking to decoding information, to looking words up in the dictionary. Giving the power back to students to be able to take control of their own learning and to be excited about learning again. This tool is versatile and can go a long way in supporting all diverse learners in the classroom. Thank you.
