Help me give my students a better understanding of the Central Dogma of Biology!

Science is an ever changing field that I love to explore with my students. As a biologist, I believe that I can show all of the exciting wonders science has to offer. As a teacher, I can bridge the gap between a lab and a classroom setting.
Despite various learning backgrounds and interests, all of my students question the science that surrounds them.
The structure of my classroom allows for frequent classroom discussions and debates. Sometimes these discussions lead all of us to further investigate the answer using outside resources.
The ultimate goal of my class is to share how exciting Biology is by implementing my knowledge gained from working in a research lab. I want my students to question why something happens and to teach them how to become resourceful so they can find their answer.
The Central Dogma of Biology is a three step process that begins with DNA replication, leads into transcription and ends with translation. This process can be complicated for many students to understand without some type of hands-on activity. Incorporating technology and STEM activities is one way I can achieve subject comprehensive.
I believe the Flow of Genetics Information Kit will provide the necessary hands-on experience my students need to expand their knowledge about DNA replication, transcription and translation.
The learned concepts are not only important for tests in class, but for a state test students will take at the end of the year.
