My Project

Our club includes members of my Modified Math class. The class takes an annual field Trip to Kohl's as part of the consumer math unit. Each student is given a spending budget and will be shopping virtually this year. The students shop within that budget, they have to calculate the sales tax and any discounts, fees, etc. The students also research the products being bought to ensure quality and durability. It is learning math with real-life benefits.

The items bought are given to students in need of clothing and footwear.
