My students need these odds and ends for the classroom including poster board, scissors, pens, etc. so they have "some of the little" things that students need every day but never seem to have handy.

My Students

Do you ever get the feeling your forgot something small but useful? My students and I have that feeling regularly while in our classroom, however, take away the term "forget" and put in the term "do not have" and you have the picture of my classroom. The building is new but the supplies are sparse.

My students are great kids.

They come from a diversity of backgrounds and experiences. This blending of students makes for an exciting classroom environment. It is never dull in my classroom. Class sizes average 30 teenagers and space is tight, and supplies tighter.

My Project

I am asking for a plethora of supplies. The most useful of which is the three hole puncher. I can't believe the amount of times I need one and do not have one to use. The pens are helpful for kids who need one for the day and the binder clips are a wonderful help with organization. The poster board will be excellent for projects, mapping assignments, and other classroom activities.

These supplies will make students lives easier while they are so busy trying to learn.

The simple ability to use a hole punch and put a piece of paper in their notebook will be a novelty in and of itself. The poster board will particularly help my lower income students buy supplies they need for projects I do every year in my class.
