My Project

This project will give kids in Lahaina, Maui a new start. We will be moving to our new location in less than 2 months. We would love to have a classroom that is setup for success. Being in a completely new space, we want to make it a special and safe place.

We like to find things easily and know where to put things back where they belong.

These resources will not only help decrease clutter in the classroom, but also help our students stay organized.

We want to be in a safe and clean classroom, therefore having a vacuum cleaner, disinfecting Clorox wipes, a broom, and dustpan easily accessible in the classroom will help us maintain a healthy environment. We will assign our students cleaning duties each day in order to foster responsibility and cleanliness.

A comfortable reading corner will encourage students to stay engaged and focused during Silent Sustainable Reading (SSR). Having a comfortable kid-sized chair and sofa for our our classroom library can keep students relaxed and ready to read their next adventure!
