My Project

STARS (Skill Training and Autism Related Services) students learn best when they are given hands-on activities and real-world learning opportunities. The students in my class work hard each day to develop the functional academic and daily living skills needed to transition into young adulthood and become successful after high school.

The requested cart and blender for the kitchen station will provide them with the space they need to practice their functional math and reading skills (measuring, fractions, reading recipes, following directions, and so much more!) while working to develop daily living skills needed to become successful, independent young adults.
