My Students

My students are energetic and passionate, and they love to learn and try new things. Their spirit and enthusiasm for life and learning is contagious. They are of the age where it is important for them to learn skills that will make them self-sufficient.

As teachers and coaches, we want to be able to provide them with the opportunities to express themselves and not limit their knowledge to just what our school funding has to offer.

Students get excited about being able to use new equipment. It is so much fun to see their faces light up when they come into the room and see something new out. It's like Christmas!

My Project

This project is for upgrading some of the older equipment we have in our kitchen. Our Foods for Today class has been up and running for almost thirty years! Some of the equipment looks that way!

These requested six Hamilton Beach Elite blenders and drying racks, will help me effectively teach culinary skills that our students will be able to carry on with them for a lifetime.

Besides, who doesn't love new kitchen equipment!

My elective is only a semester long, so it is very important to me that I utilize every minute I have. Having current and up-to-date kitchen equipment will help me do that.
