Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Teachers, students, and their families work together to make our school a welcoming and loving place. With acrylic paint and specials pens, my students will paint rocks that are currently covering a large area by our school entrance. On these rocks, they will write positive messages as in the Kindness Rocks Project.
With your help, we will transform our school entrance into a colorful and beautiful space that spreads messages of kindness, love, and peace and it can be enjoyed by our whole neighborhood.
This art project will become permanent and will be open to our neighbors to enjoy and collaborate as well, strengthening our wider community and beautifying our school.
