They are an inspiring group of students that are working on becoming a team! They are the most supportive and understanding students I have ever met. They are always offering a kind word to one another encouraging each other to overcome obstacles in academic situations as well as in emotional situations.

We have 12 girls and 10 boys in our class. We have students from Waterbury, Wolcott, Plymoth and Naugatuck in our class. We have a great diversity in our classroom and we are always learning from one another.
My Project
I have the pleasure of working with our dance teacher, drama teacher, art teacher, music teacher, as well as my amazing second grade team to spread some kindness! Our 4 classes are working on performing a written script that will accompany music and dance. We are using the theme kindness, and we would like to have each student create 2 kindness rocks during our Kindness unit! What is even better than kindness rocks...sharing the kindness rocks with a local convalescent home! The students will be designing and creating a rock that shows what kindness means to them, they will keep one for themselves and they will be sending someone who may need a smile one! Help our Second Graders at Rotella spread kindness because KINDNESS ROCKS!
