My class is a preschool inclusion classroom. It is made up of both special education and general education students ranging from ages 3-5.
"The biggest risk of NOT including a child with disabilities is that we limit EVERYONE'S potential as human beings" -The Inclusive Class.
In my class, students understand and embrace each other's differences. Both my general education and special education students have been able to build a community of learners where every student is included in work and play.
My Project
We would like to implement the Kindness Rocks Project in our own preschool classroom! We believe this program can make a difference in not only our classroom but hopefully our whole school and community.
Learning to be a kind human starts in preschool.
We would like the kindness to start now. We believe that building a better, kinder, more loving world needs to start as young as possible.
We need books to teach about kindness. Acrylic paint, paint pens and paintbrushes to create our own kindness rocks. These supplies would allow us to teach kindness, love, and empathy to our school's littlest humans and teach them to spread that love and kindness to everyone around them. We would love your support.
