My elementary school houses 972 students. With such a large campus and classrooms filled to capacity, it is important to make sure that each child feels loved on campus. When students feel better about themselves they will perform better in the classroom!
We will spread kindness throughout our school because KINDNESS ROCKS!
Teaching our students to be givers will help to build their values and provides opportunities to develop kindness, a strength that improves lives and reduces violence and bullying.
My Project
I would like to create a kindness rock garden at my school! The idea is simple and uplifting, take one if it means something to you, share one with a friend who needs inspiration or add one, it's all about kindness.
We can spread kindness, one rock at a time.
In order to create our garden we will need the supplies to get it started. We will need rocks to decorate, spray paint to make our rocks aesthetically appealing, and Sharpies for the children to choose their words of kindness and add some flair to their rocks.
Not only is it fun to design and create these gorgeous rocks, students also learn the powerful skill of using words to inspire and motivate both themselves and others around them!
