Help me give my students and our school an amazing read-aloud book to kick off Random Acts of Kindness week which is celebrated February 18th-23rd. This gift will support our PBIS (Positive Behavior Incentives and Supports) initiative.

Our school strives to build a sense of community in our first through eighth grade classes with our students at the core of this community. Many students are responsible for so much more than learning. Many of them are daycare providers, homework helpers to their siblings, yet continue to be all around great kids. They are gritty, funny and personable. Social media has made many of us quick to judge and slow to understand. Our hope is that we all learn to be a kinder community through Chloe and Miya's experience in "Each Kindness."
This is our second year implementing PBIS; a system that teaches respect and responsibility through lessons, incentives and celebrations. We will use Jacqueline Woodson's book "Each Kindness" as a read aloud to begin February's celebration of kindness.
"Kindness is like tiny waves.
Each little thing we do goes out, like a ripple into the world." This quote by Jacqueline Woodson" found in her book "Each Kindness" sums up our mission. The world needs more kindness and less judgment and bullying; let this movement start with our students. Thank you for your kindness in supporting our students.
