My Students

I have known some of these students since they were in preschool. Now, fast forward to two years later, they'll be in my own classroom. My students are fun-loving, energetic, and curious little ones, and their curiosity fuels their desire to learn more each and every single day.We are part of a very small school in a rural area with only one class per grade level. The sense of community is strong here, and we are truly a family.

My Project

Having kindle fire tablets in our classroom will expand students' learning experiences. Kindles are so versatile, student-friendly, and easy to move around within the classroom.

With these tablets, we will be able to use them to read books during guided reading, listen to e-books during independent reading, scan QR codes for individualized learning activities, create student-driven e-portfolios, share work posted on their student portfolio with parents for a strong home-to-school connection, and .

I'm trying to bring in more technology aspects into the classroom, and having tablets in the classroom will definitely enrich my student's learning experiences in ways they have not experienced before.
