Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our classroom is a warm and happy environment where students are truly happy to spend their days. My students are some amazing kids who come from a low-income neighborhood where many of them are living below the poverty line.

These kiddos are curious, sweet, and loving, and 100% of them receive a free breakfast and lunch each and every day.

When my babies are in our classroom, I like to be able to provide things for them to help them to be as successful as possible.

My Project

We would be so excited to add these Kindle Fires to our classroom. Many of my students are below grade level in reading and math. By having access to Kindles in our classroom, my students will be able to utilize games and activities that will help improve their literacy and math skills.

Many of my students do not have access to technology outside of school.

I love giving them the opportunity to expand their knowledge by using exciting new materials. When kids get a hold of technology in the classroom, they have so much fun, they forget they’re actually learning!
