Help me give my students Kindle tablets with durable cases and headsets with microphones to complete interactive speaking and listening activities, engaging presentational assessments, and online language learning apps.

My Spanish 1, 2, and 3 classes are a place of excitement and discovery. Students will spend this year learning a range of both foundational and advanced knowledge and skills they will need as they move forward in their language learning.
Our classes include gifted/talented students, inclusion/special education students, and the tech-savvy.
Our urban school receives federal funding for nutrition programs and Title I services to economically-disadvantaged boys and girls.
My students are energetic and very busy within the classroom. Even with support from parents, all of my students do not have all the materials they need to be successful. We are preparing students for the workforce, college, and the world beyond, so they can be the best they can be.
I have learned that while my students may be able to master new vocabulary and grammar, they need more opportunities to communicate in Spanish in authentic ways. My goal is to expose my students to more real-world applications of Spanish such as authentic texts and videos that involve native Spanish speakers and expose them to more culture. Many of my students are also nervous and apprehensive to demonstrate their speaking skills in Spanish.
With the Kindle fire tablets, students would be able to communicate through videos and stories, which will help ease the anxiety of speaking in class.
This new medium to demonstrate their skills will help build their confidence to speak in front of the class further into the school year. With the Kindle fires, my students will also be able to create projects such as video skits of their own telenovelas, giving weather and news reports in Spanish, and even Skyping with native speakers. They would also have access to apps and websites with interactive games and examples of authentic Spanish content and culture. These projects will help students improve their language skills and acquire the language in a fun and engaging way.
