Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach third grade at an urban school in Massachusetts. Third grade is an amazing time of exploration and growth. My students are experiencing the magic of where education can take you! These sweet third graders are from low socioeconomic backgrounds and live in a high poverty area. Your donation will allow our class to have access to new and high quality resources! The children will learn important skills that will benefit them through the rest of their educational careers, and life!
My Project
My students will get immense use out of 4 Kindle Fire 7 Kid Edition tablets. These tablets will allow my students to access the internet safely, watch educational videos, read books, use educational apps and listen to stories when used as a listening center.
Not only will the students be able to access appropriate materials to enhance their learning, but will also learn important skills to become responsible digital citizens.
These students live in a low-income neighborhood and sometimes even their basic needs are not met. Please help me give these students all that they deserve and the best education possible!
