My students need more technology in the classroom. With the addition of these 10 Kindles I will be one-to-one with technology and my students will enjoy more time reading and practicing their spelling skills.

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Hello! Thank you for taking a few moments to look over my Donorschoose.org project. I teach in a rural school where over 75% of the students receive free or reduced price breakfast and lunch. My students love to learn and are especially interested in Science, Math, Literacy, Art and Technology.
Teaching at a small school can be rewarding, but sometimes difficult.
We are blessed with smaller classroom sizes, but often do not have the necessary funding for technology. My students enjoy using Kindles, unfortunately I have only enough Kindles for a third of my class. I would love to purchase additional Kindles to allow my students the use of technology whenever they have time.
My Project
I want to provide more technology to my students through the use of Kindles. My students will have the ability to access not only a digital reading program, but also spelling and math apps.
Having my students one-to-one with technology will allow them additional time to Kindle a love of reading.
Technology is important for our students to understand. With a one-to-one classroom my students will be given the opportunity to learn proper use of technology as well as how to use apps and word processing skills.
With your help my students will have access to technology since many do not have access at home.
