My Students

I have a 5th grade classroom of 23 amazing, diverse learners. Our school is in East Grand Forks, MN. We are a Title I school and serve students with an array of backgrounds. My students come to school every day with a thirst and drive for learning. Their passion for learning grows stronger by the minute. We actively work on STEM projects incorporating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

My students strive every day to "Be the Change you wish to see in the World".

My Project

We are FIRED UP about learning. These Kindle Fire tablets and cases provide many educational apps and games that will ignite enthusiasm for learning. My students will have the opportunity to dig deeper into our daily learning targets by exploring concepts during math and reading centers, coding and computer science, research, and numerous educational opportunities. Students will be able to use the Kindles to work on anything from reading fluency, coding our classroom robots, posting to our classroom learning journal, and exploring essentially every subject area.
