This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Testing on computers! Help my kindergarten students practice computer skills on WORKING computers.

My kindergarten students come from a Florida school with over 85% of students are economically disadvantaged.

Many students in my class don't have access to computers or even have Internet access at home. They are eager to learn when the right tools are given to them.

My Project

I am asking for 4 new Google Samsung Series 5 Chromebook laptop computers for my kinders. With the computers, they will be able to use the Internet to go on a variety of learning websites. These new laptops will give my students an advantage in technology. Kindergarten students are already required to take county tests on a computer. How do we expect them to pass with little to no experience on working computers?

My students need access to computers that work.

These computers are on sale for a great price and would reach 20 students this year and who knows how many students in the years to come. Thanks for reaching out to help disadvantaged youth today!
