My Students

We have four classrooms of adorable, eager kindergartners. 90 students visit the library once a week for stories and to check out books. They are so excited to find books to take home and share with their families for the week.

My Project

We need a better system for finding books. Kindergartners are not able to read the spines of books. This makes it hard for them to know what books they want, it's true kinders choose books by the cover! I want them to be able to sort through the books and really find what they like without the destruction of the book cases. These bins will allow us to do just that. We will be able to organize according to genre.

Making books more visible and more fun for little hands.

With 20- 22 little bodies all looking for books at the same time, they will beable to find what they like much quicker giving us more time for story fun!
