My Students

My sweet babies are my heart. Life is hard for many of them. Their needs are incredibly diverse. However, the need that is common to them is love. I work hard to put every piece of my heart and soul into my students. I want to make available to them everything I can to make sure that learning is not one of the things in their lives that is hard for them. With dramatic cuts in funding in recent years, it is becoming increasingly difficult to provide my babies with the tools they need to be successful.

My Project

Over the past few years, I have seen the amazing benefits of implementing STEM in the classroom, even with kindergarten students. I will admit that I was hesitant at first, thinking that 5- and 6-year-olds couldn't possibly know how to complete STEM tasks, but I have been pleasantly surprised!

With the world of technology growing so fast, I think that it is incredibly important for me to prepare my students with the knowledge they need to compete in today's world.

I plan to use the Coji Coding Robot as a tool to practice both math and reading skills, as well as to develop their learning using STEM.
