I..Love..Teaching! Even though I am a 16year veteran to teaching...I feel inspired to always make my classroom new for every kid every year. I am willing to do what it takes to ensure my kids learn to the best of their ability and LOVE to come to school. On my campus, many need more than just the norm, they need to have their needs met first before they are comfortable learning. Whether it be a pair of socks, belt, or jacket, my kids will have their needs met and then the learning will take place! I love my students and want the best. I want things they only dream about. I want to make it happen for them.
My students come from all different backgrounds, all different home environments, and all different ethnicities.
They are meshed together in my ESL classroom and feel right at home.
I want them to feel like their classroom is safe and that they appreciate what is around them. I am so excited every year to meet and grow with these kids and families. It's a home environment at my campus and want to show that in my room.
My Project
The seating and circle rug that I am requesting for my students will make the best addition to my brand new classroom! We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The large carpet will be placed in the front of the classroom and used as a gathering place during mini-lessons and share time. The flexible seating will be in various parts of the room for them to be comfy and learn in a better environment. I am a 16 year veteran teacher who wants the best "learning home" for my kinders. These are my wishlist items that would make my new classroom a learning area they look forward to coming in!!
