My students need 30 chair pockets to help stay organized with all of their interactive notebooks needed throughout the day.

My Students

The average day in our classroom is busy and engaging. My kindergarten students use interactive journals for the alphabet and sight words. Each day we write and students have another folder for their writer's workshop materials. Math notebooks are used each day in our math lessons also.

My students are an energetic group of 5 year olds.

My class this year consists of 24 full day students. They enjoy being in class and thrive off the fast pace of our room. Our school is a Title 1 school with high numbers of free or reduced lunches due to low income families.

My Project

My students need 30 chair pockets to help stay organized with all of their interactive notebooks needed throughout the day. My students will use their chair pockets numerous times throughout the day. The students will keep numerous folders, journals and interactive notebooks in the pocket. Because my students have so many different materials to use throughout the day and we don't have desks, these pockets will ease many frustrations and save a great deal of time each day.

Our classroom will improve with the Lakeshore chair pockets because my students will be able to have access to their materials in a much faster manner.

Each student won't be waiting for the table captain to bring the materials back to their table saving minutes each time during the day.
