Kindergarteners Understand The World Through Physical Science!
My students need centers, hands-on activity labs to give them an engaging way to explore physical science. We are asking for two labs related to physical science (magnet and force/motion).

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come to school ready to learn. Some of my students are experiencing school for the first time. They are learning the academic and social skills required to succeed in life. They are very inquisitive and always full of ideas as they make connections with the concepts they learn in school and the world.
Every student is different and has his/her own way of engaging and learning concepts.
16 percent of my students are ELLs. Their language production ranges from transitioning to expanding level. 33 percent of my students have special needs. They all have different interests and ways of engaging in learning. 100 percent of my students qualify for free lunch. Our school is located in one of the poorest locations in Bronx.
At the end of the day they love sharing what they learned throughout the day. Kindergarten sets the foundation for meaningful learning.
My Project
Children learn the world around them through observation and experimentation. By donating the activity lab materials, you will give my students the opportunity to engage in centers and hands-on activity labs that would lead them through exciting, skill-building experiences.
Young children naturally ask questions to better understand their world, even better if they can answer those question through exploration and discovery.
Using the magnetic set, students will construct, use and present arguments to support a claim that when kinetic energy of an object changes, that energy is transferred to or from that object.
Using the force and motion set students will explore the law of gravity by using the objects to discover the relationship between force and motion.
