I have the best students! Really, I do! They are full of energy and are so eager to learn.

Our students come from a very low income and very rural part of the state. Our school is way out in the countryside, surrounded by pastures with grazing cattle and beautiful ponds. It feels almost like a place where time stood still. The students come to school every day knowing that they are loved.
My Project
Kindergarteners are expected to learn more than ever before! Magnetic letters will enhance several of my classroom reading and writing centers by adding hands-on, practical experiences. The students will also be able to practice letter recognition, letter formation, and letter sounds with Magic Boards and Stack and Build Tiles.
Research shows that learning sight words is one of the most effective ways for children to improve both fluency and reading comprehension.
I can't wait for them to start practicing their sight words with the Snap and Build Sight-Word set.
Reading is so important for a child's future success, and I want to give my kiddos many opportunities to build a strong foundation.
