My kindergarten students have been home since mid-March due to COVID19. My students are meeting with me daily online and they have minimal supplies at home. This project would put much-needed supplies into their hands to make learning more equitable.
My Project
I never imagined I would be teaching kindergarten through Google Meets! Our kindergarten team has been so creative over the past few months to help our students thrive at home. We have learned what has worked and what has not. Kindergarten is very hands-on and our biggest problem is that students do not have the materials to do hands-on work. The materials in my project will help my students participate in our shared learning experiences while at home. They will be able to practice learning to read and write, play math games, and participate in other fun learning projects.
