Kindergarteners are full of life and joy for learning. I love my students because they love learning. Kindergarteners are excited to learn new things, to help my little ones learn virtually, we need more virtual resources to keep students engaged in learning. Due to the Coronavirus and health and safety restrictions, my students must remain online. We have no school budget to buy any resources for teaching our students. I found a math unit that teaches students the skills and concepts through virtual manipulatives and virtual lessons. This online math resource will help students to learn online, making it more engaging and fun. I tried to purchase this resource utilizing my classroom money, but there is a freeze for all teachers district-wide. No one can purchase anything right now. I would purchase it myself, but I am already working two jobs to get by on my own bills. My students would love these lessons and benefit! Please help us! Thank you for your time.
My Project
These digital resources will continue to enhance the lessons students are learning as if they are in our classroom. My classroom is a place that my students really enjoy learning. I have gathered engaging, research-based, and fun resources to keep students engaged in learning, while it feels like they are having fun! All of these resources for learning online, have been chosen with my students in mind-I have watched my students learning online, trying different strategies the past few weeks of school online, just like these resources. I have also asked them what type of lessons they would enjoy. Students will be able to interactively learn using these resources, which will help them continue to enjoy whole group and small group instruction and independent practice online.
My students already have shown an astonishing interest in interactively learning online, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with more resources to engage my students in learning online.
