My Students

My kindergarteners are learning organizational skills to succeed in life and at our AVID school we are learning how to do that from the very start! We use WICOR strategies to learn the effectiveness of what this means.

My students range from those that have had preschool before to those that have never stepped in a school setting ever.

Whole group, small group, partner share, individual work...we do it all. Its amazing to see my students grow and learn.

We can't always afford the tools to do it, that is why as their teacher, I'm asking for your help!

My Project

My kindergarteners are learning to write their letters and numbers for the first time. Some are even learning how to hold a writing utensil for the first time. Its an exciting time to instill good penmanship and good writing behaviors early on. We write every single day in kindergarten and write boards that can can erase easily make for an awesome tool so we are not wasting so much paper and pencil. We love to practice writing our alphabet and number and our name. Kindergarten is an awesome grade and I feel lucky to teach these little people and watch them grow into amazing citizens of our community! Thank you for taking the time to read about us.
