Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a kindergarten teacher with an expected class size of about 30 students. Kindergarten is an exciting time for our students and for some this is their first schooling experience. School can be an exciting and overwhelming place for students and setting routines early helps students to get used to school and make it feel like a second home!
My students are curious, and enthusiastic about the world around them.
I hope to help foster their creativity and learning to help them discover the world around them and make for a meaningful learning experience.
My Project
In kindergarten we love hands-on experiences that make us feel like we are full body learning about different concepts. Along with hands-on experiences comes sharing and germs!
These supplies will helps to foster creativity across genres and also help to keep us clean and germ free!
With these supplies we can teach students health and well being as well as responsibility and pride in keeping our classroom and ourselves clean and healthy! Play doh is a great hands-on learning tool that can be used in almost every subject to build models, learn and build letter and number recognition, or social emotional break time.
