My Students

My students are curious, ambitious, intelligent, and creative. They have a deep passion for learning and appreciate hands-on, novel learning experiences that take them beyond pen and paper learning.

We are a military community, and our students come to us having varying degrees of experience with the English language and American culture.

It is essential that we provide a plethora of learning mediums, experiences, and opportunities with which our students can learn. By funding this project, you can help ensure our students have multiple modalities with which to master concepts.

My Project

My students can use these tablets to practice letter writing, fine motor skills, making and sharing oral book reports, art projects, and so much more. We can use them to share evidence of things found in the classroom that support our themes, play games that enhance our concept development, and review subjects that we need more practice in. Some of our students may not have access to this form of technology in their home setting. Those students can practice at school. Additionally, students who struggle to write on their own or read on their own can use the technology to help express their knowledge in a way they otherwide could not.
