My students heed Headphones to work on our new iPads and desktop computers. The laminating sheet, binder clips, and Sticky Back Coins Hook & Loop Self Adhesive Dots will be used to make center for the students.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My classroom is a kindergarten classroom in a Title I district. We currently have 30 students. My students are hands-on learners, but they love to use all of their senses to explore in the classroom. They love centers and to work in groups.
My school is big on engaging children in inquiry-based learning and allowing them to move around the room to provide a move individualized education.
We are energetic and need the use of our multiple learning styles to maintain focus.
My Project
My school is big on engaging children in inquiry-based learning and allowing them to move around the room to provide a move individualized education. I have decided to try to take on the new task box craze to organize my classroom centers.
The Velcro, laminating paper and metal rings are all used to create and hold together the task cards.
The headphones will be used with our new iPads. Other resources like the magnifying glasses, magnetic squares, dry erase markers, and glue sticks will all be used inside of the task boxes to allow students a greater variety of center tasks. This form of organization makes it super easy for individual students to work independently, allowing me to work with other students in smaller groups. All of these materials will be used to create, hold, sort, and store the task boxes for my wonderful future students.
