My Students
My students are eager to learn daily despite the fact that most of them come to school with little or no school supplies. I focus on providing a fun and creative learning environment.
I teach at a Title I school where 100 percent of my students receive free breakfast and lunch daily.
My students are regular education and English as a Second Language Learners. Most of my students live in single parent homes. I know I cannot change the struggles they face at home, but I can make sure their lives at school are positive, exciting, and rewarding.
My Project
My students need some items to help us grow. My students need Sight word journals to practice reciting, reading and writing sight words for small groups. We need a laptop for our coding adventures and storing our projects. . My students can work on writing projects and save them to work on them later under their own file. We can use the Coolpix to document our work and growth in class. My students can learn to take pictures of their work and of the world around us. We can take pictures of the school and things in and outside of the school for our environmental print rich classroom.
Having supplies to meet our needs is very important.
The air pump will help us keep our soccer and footballs inflated. We need laminating sheets to cover our handwriting sheets, letters, names and classroom projects. We need supplies to help our everyday transitions to go smooth. We need coding file folder game to help us practice coding. We will use the echo dot for transitional moves and speakers for everyday use to hear different songs and videos to help with classroom transitions.
