Like all 5 and 6-year-old Kindergarten students, my students are full of energy and ready to learn! I teach two half day sessions of Kindergarten, so I have a different group of wonderful Kindergarten students in the morning and in the afternoon!
My Kindergarten students are so excited to be in school!
They love everything about school and are always willing to work hard and try their best at all that they do! They are curious about so many different things, and I love getting the chance to educate them on all that I can!
My Project
The resources I am requesting for my Kindergarten classroom will directly relate to helping students continue their academic learning in light of COVID-19 because a lot of my students didn't have the usual opportunities to attend pre-school before starting Kindergarten. These resources will help me give them more support in basic literacy skills such as letter/sound identification, CVC words, rhyming words, etc. These are all foundational skills that will help my students continue to learn the necessary skills to help them become successful and independent readers as they move through the year and get ready to become first graders.
