My Project

This project includes TeachersPayTeachers gift cards. If you are not aware, TeachersPayTeachers is a website where teachers can post and buy materials from other teachers. This website is extremely helpful to save time and energy by purchasing ready-made materials rather than needing to create my own.

As I am moving to kindergarten this year after five years in 2nd grade, I will need to refresh my resources to make sure they are age-appropriate for kindergarten.

While the district provides several high-quality resources, it can get expensive to go out and purchase what I need on my own. These TPT gift cards will come in handy throughout the year as I navigate this new grade level.

I am also moving to a different type of bilingual program, a two-way dual language program. Over the last five years, I have mostly taught reading and writing in Spanish. This year, I will be doing more English. This will also create a need to purchase some new resources to support the teaching of literacy in English.
