Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Kindergartners have come a long way since the beginning of the school year. They have made so much progress, not only in academics, but also in confidence and socialization.
Our classroom environment feels like a family.
I often see students encouraging and congratulating other students on even the smallest of successes. It's beautiful.
My kindergarteners are kind, bright and always express their love of learning. However, our school is Title I where everyone receives receive free breakfast and lunch. Many students' parents work long hours to supply basic needs for their children. Despite the challenges many of our students face, my students come to school prepared and eager to learn.
My Project
Kindergarten has many exciting memories for children and their families. They have many lasting memories, and I would like to help them create photo memory books to help them preserve these memories for them and their families. I have taken pictures of students weekly during school spirit days, field trips, and other special days and milestones.
Your donation to this project will help me print their photos for each of my students and their parents; it will help their year in Kindergarten be remembered forever.
They will be able to recall and tell memories through their pictures. Thank you for considering funding this project. My parents and I will be truly grateful for your donation.
