The kids at my school come to school each and every day energized and ready to learn. We are located in the great state of Nebraska. Our school is not a Title I school, so funding for extra supplies is not in the budget. There are students with family members serving in the military, students who are English Language Learners, and many more.
The students love books and can't wait to become superhero readers but we need a storage cart so the children can organize their materials and books!
Kindergarten is an important year of school for the children.
It is the first year they are working together as a team, so every child can succeed!
The book storage cart will allow the children to have a specific place to keep their books and materials for easy access. The cart will allow the children to become more independent and responsible for their own learning.
We will use the storage cart each and every day during our independent reading rotations.
The children will become more independent by having the responsibility of taking care of their own materials and become more organized. The cart will allow the book boxes to be located in one spot so the children can have access throughout the day. The children will be able to use the cart to get the books, notebooks, and games for use when needed.
